This year is another small group on the women’s side, but they do not lack experience or credentials. Leading the way is Kayla Miracle. Her resume is as long as a seven year old’s Christmas list. This year she became the first female to qualify for the IHSAA state finals along with winning the Body Bar FILA Cadet age division in May. Kayla participated in the Cadet World Championships last year along with winning a Cadet National Title and finishing second in the Junior division at Fargo. Another returning All-American is Gibby Paxton. She was 8th last year and looks to improve on that finish. Brooke Bunch will look to bring home some hardware in her second trip to Fargo. First timers Courtney Grey and Lindsey Prozanski are looking to continue the trend of very good women’s wrestlers from Indiana on the national stage.
