Looks for Second National Championship, Third Big Twelve Crown, Hodge Trophy
Before last season got underway, Nebraska Head Assistant Coach, Mike Greenfield called his 157lber, Jordan Burroughs, into his office. He handed Burroughs a marker and told him to write his goals for the season on the dry-erase board. “Las Vegas Champ, Big Twelve Champ. National Champ, Undefeated,” were some of the things Burroughs had earmarked. In a stellar junior season, Burroughs nailed every one of them.
Last week, Greenfield did the same thing. This time, Burroughs wrote on phrase:
“Hodge Trophy.”
